We participate in the Steps to Organic program

We have the pleasure of serving organic food at restaurants onboard m/s Finlandia. We take part in the voluntary program Steps to Organic, a program that step by step promotes the use of organic products and the serving of organic food at restaurants. We also enhance our kitchen onboard m/s Finlandia according to our customers expectations.

The program has an organic stars rating system and a restaurant can step by step reach three stars. Eckerö Line’s restaurants on m/s Finlandia have achieved two stars in the Steps to Organic classification. During 2018 we have more than doubled the use of organic products as measured in kilograms. For example all the filtered coffee we serve onboard is organic and in the morning you can kick off your day with organic oatmeal porridge. Our engagement in the program Steps to Organic is in accordance with our sustainable development responsible operations.
